Engle Book Club.
TO ALL BOOK LOVERS: Join the Bernice Engle Book Club. At 10:15 at
the Selby Library (downtown).
We meet in the Conference Room upstairs. Afterwards, attendees are welcome
to continue our lively discussions during lunch at a local restaurant. New

GREAT DECISIONS: This group is starting its 6th year in January. It
meets for 8 sessions. Great Decisions is sponsored by the Foreign Policy
Association. The format is as follows: We read the week's topic from a
book provided by the FPA and. on the day of our meeting, watch a 20 minute
video on the topic of the week, then we discuss the topic. Afterwards we go
out to dinner. (optional)

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY: We meet monthly and discuss various aspects
of digital photography. Camera choices, editing programs and printing are
regular topics. Occasional field trips to sites are opportunities to compare
our individual techniques and viewpoints.

Jongg group continues to meet every Friday at our homes from 1-3:30 P.M.

BIKE
CLUB: We are planning monthly morning bike rides around our area.
Average time is about 1½/2 hours and the pace is leisurely. There are lots
of of safe and beautiful routes and we normally finish with lunch! Check

HUMANAIRES: You have all enjoyed the
music of our wonderful musical group. How about joining in the fun? Music
reading or knowledge of Hebrew, Yiddish or Ladino in not expected or

TASTING GROUPS: With the expert guidance of our own resident
"Wine Maven" Ron Fox, there a several wine tasting groups meeting
monthly. There are "blind" tastings, discussions on the quality and relative

MOVIE
GROUPS: There are several movie groups, meeting on different days and
times to suit the members. Movies are chosen and then discussed. See our

who regularly dine together at local restaurants and compare notes. (This is
probably the only group that doesn't end with food -it starts with
food.)
